30 Day Course on Faith - Day 7

Help Thou Mine Unbelief - Part 2 of 2

If you haven't already read Part 1, then go here!

Today we are continuing on with The Stickman...

Our Comfort Zone is where we currently are, and believe me, we are very comfortable there!  We are using "X" to represent our current thoughts, feelings and actions.  In our Comfort Zone, we have "X" in our conscious mind (current thoughts), "X" in our subconscious mind (current feelings, beliefs and programming) and "X" in our body (current actions and habits).  Because we know that Thoughts + Feelings/Beliefs + Action/Habits = Results, we know that in our Comfort Zone we are getting "X" results!  BUT you want to get better results than "X."  You see other people getting better results and on some level you realize that it's possible for you to get better results, too!  Going back to our formula, the only way we are going to get different results is if we change our thoughts, feelings and actions!  And it all starts with a new thought...

Let's introduce a new and original idea (which we will represent with "Y").  It takes Faith to think a new thought when there is no evidence to support the new idea! So now we have "Y" in our conscious mind, "YX" in our subconscious mind (because even though we are repetitively introducing "Y" into our subconscious mind, we still have the old programming in there, too), and our actions/habits are still "X." So even though we are introducing our new thought patterns, we are still getting "X" results... But don't give up because it's about to get better (but it may have to get a little worse first)!

Now you're getting better with those new thoughts and beliefs and you are even starting to take new actions and create new habits!  Because of all the mixed feelings and habits, you are starting to feel some Anxiety! You can feel the new and old patterns battling it out inside of you and it feels like it can't be right!  At this point, most of us are tempted to give up and head right back to the Comfort Zone because surely something that's good for us wouldn't feel this bad, right!?!

But, there is a better option...

Instead of going back to the Comfort Zone, you can continue going through The Gateway.  I like to think of it as a gate that has 4 locks on it:  a spiritual lock, an emotional lock, a mental lock, and a physical lock.  If you align yourself with your goal spiritually, emotionally, mentally, AND physically, then magic happens!  (Go here to learn more about the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical energies in our body.)  You are able to comfortably go through The Gateway and find...

Sweet, sweet FREEDOM!!!

Your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, programming, actions and habits are all aligned again and you feel great!  This is your new Comfort Zone; you are now ready to introduce a new idea (we'll call it "Z") and start the process all over again! Remember that we are progressing beings and we are designed to continually create and reach new goals!

A very important reminder:

Your results will be a reflection of the ideas to which you give the strongest emotion!

If your fear is greater than your faith, then you will stay stuck in the old patterns!

Daily Challenge: Every day for 30 days in a row, I want you to say the following out loud at least 10 times each day!!!  Be sure to say it cheerfully and enthusiastically!  This scripture is found in Philippians 4:13:

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

You've now completed this challenge seven days in a row - Be sure to congratulate yourself for a job well done! You have now finished a whole week -- Way to stick with it!
